On May 26, Internet Society of China (ISC) held a symposium on the development of Chinese domain names, conducting discussions on topics such as the application, promotion and future development of Chinese domain names, and listening to opinions and suggestions from all parties.

ISC introduced the current development status of Chinese domain names and the significance of UA readiness. The delegates introduced the supporting situation of Chinese domain names from aspects of browsers, instant messaging, search engines, input, mail systems, mobile applications, and application scenarios, exchanged common problems encountered, and put forward suggestions for promoting related work.

ISC will continue to work with all parties of the community to improve the service quality of Chinese domain names, to set leading samples of Chinese domain name applications, and to create a good environment for the development of the Internet domain names industry.

Over 50 representatives from Internet companies, basic telecom operators, equipment manufacturers, and domain name registries attended the meeting, including CNNIC, CONAC, Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba, Douyin Group, Huawei, Xiaomi, 360, Qi Anxin, iFLYTEK, 263, NetEase, Sina, Sohu, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, etc.
