The 2nd Session of China Internet Innovation and IPR Summit Convened in Hangzhou

On October 17-18, 2013, the Second Session of China Internet Innovation and Intellectual Property Protection Summit convened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. This forum was jointly hosted by Internet Society of China (ISC), Business Guiding Committee of China Notary Association and Intellectual Property Specialty Committee of All China Lawyers Association. Over 300 attendees from Internet, law, telecommunication, education and finance fields attended the forum.
Initiated in 2009, China Internet Innovation and Intellectual Property Protection Summit Forum is the technology, industry and application exchange platform of the largest scale and with the largest number of attendees. Taking “Integrity innovation, Cross-border cooperation, Judicial protection” as the theme, this summit forum conducted discussions on Internet big data, cloud computing and Internet information security and relevant legal issues. Also, “Chinese E-commerce Entrepreneurs Confidence Index” and “Information Risk Index of the Enterprise in the Yangtze River Delta area” have been released on the forum.
This forum lasts for two days, including the main forum, three topic seminars and two sub-forums.
On the main forum, nine experts, scholars and industry leaders both from home and abroad addressed keynote speeches from the aspects of Internet notary, privacy protection in the big data era, the storage, management and solutions of electronic data under cloud computing and legal boundaries within Internet industry etc.
On the three topic seminars and the two sub-forums, the attendees conducted discussions around five topics, that is, data mining and users’ information protection in the big data era, smart city in the cloud ecosystem and cross-border cooperation and product innovation, we media information and online demonstration, judiciary notary, intellectual property protection and Internet electronic data proof and data-online and the innovation of companies and administrative management under cloud computing.
Also, the attendees released “Qiantang Declaration”, making the commitment for integrity innovation and judicial protection in the Internet cross-border cooperation, so as to build more orderly and more vital Internet ecosystem.
Mr. SHI Xiansheng, the Deputy Secretary-general of ISC, gave the keynote speech on the forum.
